The Ones Who Need Not Do

The ones who need not do

Will do nothing at all.

Remain in bed to sleep,

No point in getting up.

And when they stand, they stop,

Turn back around,

Return to sleep.

Their days begin the same.

They recapitulate.

And when motif is found,

The ones who need not do

Keep flipping through their days.

The same dull days,

That are mundane.

They could break script.

But they all know

They need not do.
